Anna confessed that she had been expecting the engagement, posting a video of herself filmed in January saying, “I feel like something’s gonna happen this year. The girlies that get it, get it. So I’m gonna check in periodically until something happens.”
She filmed her empty ring finger every few weeks starting on January 2 until her proposal, which she said actually took place on April 2.
The couple, both 29, confirmed their romance in December 2021, having bonded over their shared home state of Michigan. They had teased their relationship for months before their hard launch, with Bru joking in his TikTok announcement, “act shocked.”
Reminiscing over their love story, Anna recently posted a recap of their online meet-cute. After seeing a TikTok of her future husband at a radio station in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2020, she had commented, “omg yay Michigan."
From there, the two of them exchanged flirty comments before finally getting together IRL the following year. She added photos from the past four years leading up to their proposal.
