EXCLUSIVE: Zach Zucker, an artist at the forefront of the contemporary clown comedy movement, known for his alter ego of Jack Tucker, has announced that his first special under that name, Jack Tucker: Comedy Standup Hour, will launch on YouTube at 12:00 p.m. PT on April 26.
A graduate of École Philippe Gaulier in France, who has been touring the international comedy circuit for the past decade, Zucker has built a passionate international fandom around his work with Stamptown. With his rigorously honed performances as Jack Tucker, the manic clown deeming himself “New York’s greatest comedian,” he’s re-popularized a highly visual, physical form of comedy, pushing beyond traditional stand-up and into the realm of immersive live performance.
Coming off a sold out, 10-week, twice-extended run Off-Broadway at SoHo Playhouse, Jack Tucker: Comedy Standup Hour will feature guest appearances from Neil Patrick Harris and Dyson Knight of the Baha Men. Jonny Woolley directed the live show, with Dylan Woodley directing the special, which is executive produced by Zach Zucker, Jonny Woolley, Dylan Woodley, Jeremy Elder and David Charles Zucker from Stamptown, Kevin McCollum (Rent, Avenue Q) and Lucas McMahon of Alchemation, and Dave Kneebone of Abso Lutely Productions. Harris, Emily Zolten Jilette and Dara Gottfried Kravitz are also exec producers.
The special, filmed at the Bell House in Brooklyn, NY, releases two weeks before Zucker’s award-winning variety show Stamptown tapes its debut comedy special at the 2026 Netflix Is A Joke Festival, with three performances across two nights at The Montalban Theatre on May 8 and 9. Rachel Lee Goldenberg is directing that hour, co-produced by Stamptown, Alchemation and Abso Lutely Productions.
In addition to creating Stamptown, Zucker is one half of Norwegian-American clown duo, Zach & Viggo. Over the course of his career, he has sold out shows at Netflix Is a Joke, Just for Laughs, Lincoln Center, Glastonbury, SXSW, Soho Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, Kennedy Center, Comedy Central, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and NBA Halftime Shows. He’s also been seen in the TBS reboot of The Joe Schmo Show, with additional screen credits including the New Line/HBO Max rom-com Sweethearts, 20th’s streaming title Swiped on Bumble’s Whitney Wolfe Herd, and the upcoming Joey Power-directed rom-com Love Language with Chloë Grace Moretz.
As a producer, Zucker has worked with acts such as Riki Lindhome, Jordan Gray, Randy Feltface, BriTANicK, Courtney Pauroso, Martin Urbano, Ike Ufomadu, Moses Storm, and many more. He is represented by Ethan Stern, UTA, BLOC Talent, and Ziffren Brittenham.
